About Us

Two men are hugging each other in a room with an audience seated in chairs. The audience appears to be listening attentively. The room has beige walls, wooden doors, and a music stand on a black tripod. Some audience members are wearing glasses, and one is wearing a black cap.

The Trisha Eve Center for Healing was created from a simple but powerful belief that people heal best in spaces where they feel safe, understood, and supported without judgment. Trisha Eve is an acronym that stands for Trauma Related Issues Signal Help Access and Experience Victory and Empowerment. Our work is grounded in the understanding that trauma, both individual and collective, touches every life in different ways, and that meaningful healing requires both compassion and intentional care. We are committed to creating an environment where individuals can explore their experiences, process difficult emotions, and move toward a deeper sense of wholeness.

Executive Director

Shareef Akhtab

Shareef Akhtab founded the Trisha Eve Center for Healing from a deeply personal place. Having experienced profound trauma and grief in his own life from the death of his daughter, wife and stepfather tragically dying in a house fire, he understands the weight that unresolved pain can carry. Through his own journey, Shareef discovered methods of healing that helped him move forward with greater clarity, strength, and peace.

His vision for the center is rooted in sharing those pathways with others—creating a space where people can process their experiences, release what they’ve been holding, and begin to heal in a supportive, compassionate environment. As Executive Director, Shareef is committed to ensuring that no one has to face their pain alone.
